Old Houses Japan is bridging the gap between forgotten akiya (abandoned houses 🏡) and eager buyers worldwide. Our mission? To make Japanese real estate accessible, fun, and full of possibilities. By partnering with passionate real estate professionals, we’re building a network that transforms akiya into dream homes while revitalizing local communities. We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Partner Real Estate Agent to join us on this journey. If you’re excited to share the charm of Japan’s hidden gems, help clients find their perfect property, and work with a dynamic, innovative team, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include: 🏡 Property Representation: Help source and showcase akiya listings in your region.
🌟 Client Assistance: Guide buyers through the property search, negotiation, and purchasing process.
📸 Property Visits: Conduct on-site tours and create detailed property descriptions.
🤝 Collaboration: Work closely with Old Houses Japan to ensure accurate and transparent communication with clients.
📚 Market Expertise: Stay up-to-date with local property laws, trends, and regulations.
🌸 Promote Community Living: Highlight the unique lifestyle and culture of the regions where akiya are located.
Qualifications
Licensed real estate agent in Japan 🏢.
Experience in rural or specialty real estate is a big plus!
Proficiency in Japanese and English (or willingness to work with a translator).
Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for connecting with clients from diverse backgrounds 🌏.
Knowledge of or interest in Japanese architecture and rural revitalization 🌾.
Tech-savvy and comfortable using digital tools for communication and listings.
Reliable and self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
